MARBELI is a Ukrainian fashion project I founded in 2024, where my experience as an artist and designer extends into working with clothing, material, construction, and the human body. For me, it is not a practice separate from art, but a continuation of my long-term exploration of form, colour, rhythm, proportion, and material within a different medium.
MARBELI develops as an evolving creative process. We create our own womenswear collections, present them through fashion shows, and continue to shape a distinctive design language for the brand. At its core are clarity of form, contemporary tailoring, attention to silhouette and material, and a balance between understated elegance and expressive signature details.
The collections are not defined solely by the traditional seasonal model. Alongside our core lines, we work with drops and limited-edition pieces — small series that allow greater freedom to experiment with construction, proportion, fabrics, details, and the relationship between art and clothing. This is where fashion comes closest to my artistic practice: an individual garment can be understood not only as a functional object, but as an autonomous form and a carrier of an artistic idea.
One direction within this exploration is ART TO WEAR — the translation of fragments of my paintings and graphic works into textiles and clothing. The project creates a direct connection between two practices: the image leaves the surface of the painting, moves onto fabric, acquires movement, and begins to exist together with the human body.
At the same time, MARBELI is more than its own collections. We are developing our own production in Lviv and work with corporate clothing, custom capsule solutions for companies and brands, as well as small-batch production on commission. This format allows us to approach each project comprehensively — from concept, design, and construction to the finished garment.
Today, MARBELI is expanding its presence in Ukraine and Europe, with the brand represented at retail locations in Lviv and Milan. For me, this development is important not simply as the growth of the brand, but as an opportunity to test creative ideas within a real environment — through production, fashion shows, retail, and the direct interaction between clothing and the person who wears it.
For me, MARBELI is a space between art, design, and real life — a place where an artistic idea can become form, form can become clothing, and clothing can become part of a person’s everyday experience.
