A distinct direction within my artistic practice is formed by works whose visual language extends into fashion design.

Originally created as independent works on paper and paintings, they become the basis for MARBELI prints. A fragment, line, rhythm, or colour can be enlarged, repeated, re-proportioned, and transferred from the surface of the artwork onto fabric.

For me, this is not a mechanical transfer of an image onto clothing. I am interested in the moment of transformation, when an artwork begins to interact with material, garment construction, and the movement of the human body.

In this way, the work acquires another mode of existence — from a unique image to a surface, from plane to volume, from art to an object that enters into a relationship with the human body.
