In Presence 3.01, the isolated silhouette characteristic of the early works in the series disappears. Presence no longer has a separate form — it extends across the entire space of the sheet. The field itself becomes the carrier of invisible movement.
The surface is constructed entirely from recurring arc-like signs. They overlap, shift in direction and density, forming a continuous system of vibrations. The individual sign almost disappears within the overall movement — what becomes important is no longer the sign itself, but the rhythm generated through the multiplicity of repetitions.
Colour is organized through broad horizontal transitions: warm ochre-red zones give way to violet and blue, then shift into turquoise, green, and deep darker tones. Yet the boundaries between them remain unstable. Chromatic states flow into one another like waves or currents of energy.
The composition may evoke a landscape — sky, water, earth, or a horizon — yet no specific landscape is depicted. It is rather a landscape of energies, in which what becomes visible are not objects, but processes moving through space.
