Primary Movement XII develops the theme of creation as a process of increasing complexity and interpenetration between different forms and structures. The central image already possesses a distinct silhouette, evoking associations with a natural formation or a living being, yet remains undefined, balancing between the recognisable and the abstract.
The form consists of numerous painterly fragments — turquoise, red, orange, black, and pink planes that overlap, intersect, and partially absorb one another. Their interaction creates the impression of a complex internal organism undergoing a continuous process of becoming.
Other structures emerge around and within the painterly form — lines, concentric circles, rhythmic waves, systems of dots, and geometric signs. They resemble signals, codes, or diagrams coexisting with organic forms. In this way, the natural and the structured, the spontaneous and the ordered, are no longer opposed but become parts of a unified environment.
The composition's sweeping circular movement holds this multiplicity within a shared field. Individual elements seem to follow different trajectories, yet remain connected through an invisible system of interactions. Form no longer emerges from a single impulse, but from the simultaneous action of multiple processes.
Primary Movement XII explores creation as a complex system of interrelationships, in which energy, organic form, rhythm, and signs generate a new sense of wholeness. A recognisable image only begins to emerge through this multiplicity, leaving viewers free to sense and interpret for themselves what exactly is coming into being before their eyes.
