Primary Movement X continues the exploration of creation through the interaction of already formed structures. At the centre of the composition, a large green organic form emerges, unfolding within a system of concentric circles and fields of colour.
Here, the primal form is no longer perceived as an undefined fragment of energy. It acquires scale, density, and a distinct silhouette. Broad green brushstrokes create the impression of a living substance that grows and expands, while its contours begin to evoke familiar natural forms, remaining open to different associations. Something recognisable emerges only momentarily, without resolving into a specific image.
Nearby, a red-ochre painterly structure unfolds. Its circular movement both extends and transforms the silhouette of the green form. They partially overlap, as though one form were emerging from another, or two different structures were gradually merging into a new whole. The boundary between individual forms becomes fluid — one may be an extension, an outer layer, or the next state of another.
A system of concentric fields in white, grey, blue, black, and red creates a powerful dynamic field around them. The circles do not enclose the composition but establish its rotational rhythm. The clarity of the surrounding geometric structures contrasts with the free, painterly nature of the central forms, intensifying the dialogue between order and spontaneity, the defined and that which is only beginning to take shape.
Primary Movement X captures the moment when abstract energy begins to acquire the characteristics of a living form. It already evokes a sense of recognition, yet has not acquired a definitive image, leaving space for the viewer's imagination.
